For more than 100 years now, the name of Mannesmann has been synonymous worldwide with steel tube and pipe of superlative quality. The company's success story started in 1885, when the brothers Reinhard and Max Mannesmann invented the pierce rolling process for the manufacture of seamless steel tubes. Their invention paved the way for countless technical innovations which would have been either uneconomic or unfeasible with the methods available at that time. Continuous further development of the products and our customer-oriented approach have taken the companies in the Tubes Division to where they are today: among the leaders in the steel tube and pipe industry.

The companies and affiliates combined in the Tubes Division under the management of Mannesmannröhren-Werke GmbH produce seamless and welded tube and pipe on three continents and for the whole world. So we can proudly claim that our products encompass the globe – as large-diameter pipe and line pipe, precision steel tubes, stainless steel tubes and many other variants.
